The Coffee Shop (Shop) at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre is owned and operated by the Colchester Hospital Auxiliary. The shop is operated by volunteers with no paid employees, is open three hundred and sixty four days per year and is fully self contained including all accounting, purchasing, and administration.
The Coffee Shop has been in existence for thirty five years and is the main source of income for the Auxiliary. It offers a wide array of goodies including sandwiches, salads, muffins, cookies, oatcakes, juices, tea, coffee, yogurt, and more.
Stop in for a light snack or just a chat. Sometimes a long day at the Hospital is made a little more bearable with a friendly chat and a cup of tea at the end of the day. As one Doctor puts it we are like a little community within the Hospital and that is the way we like it.
