Colchester Hospital Auxiliary Bursary Winner – Briana Wood

The CHA bursary, in the amount of $2000.00, is awarded annually to a member of the nursing staff employed at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre.  It is for LPN’s wishing to complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or for RN’s wishing to pursue a master’s degree in Nursing. This year the bursary was awarded to Briana Wood.  She is an LPN who is currently attending St FX in the accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program to achieve her RN degree.  She will continue to work as an LPN at CEHHC on a casual basis until she completes her program.  She came highly recommended by her colleagues at the hospital.  We wish her well in her studies.

When she completes her studies, Briana would like to continue working at CEHHC as a Registered Nurse.  She’s from New Glasgow.
