The Gift Shop (Shop) located in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre is owned and operated by the Colchester Hospital Auxiliary. The Gift Shop has been contributing significantly to the Auxiliary fundraising effort for over fifty years.
Throughout the many years the gift shop has kept in tune with current trends, which a visit to the shop will confirm. The shop is no longer a place to stop in and buy last minute items for patient visits but has become a place where people like to shop to find those things that cannot be easily found in the surrounding area.
Unique to our store is the fact that it is operated solely by volunteers with no paid employees. All proceeds remaining after purchase costs are used to purchase Hospital equipment that cannot be provided through the Provincial Hospital supply system.
