The Colchester Hospital Auxiliary is proud to offer scholarships to assist Practical Nurses enrolled to become Registered Nurses and Registered Nurses enrolled in their Masters Program. The program was initiated in 2003 and since its inception has helped many with their very important studies.

These scholarships are a sum of two thousand dollars each and one scholarship per year is available. The scholarship is offered only to those employed at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre and is offered in May of each year. The scholarship is paid directly to the School of choice of the individual awarded the funds.

All applications are reviewed by the Scholarship Committee who ultimately decide who will be awarded the scholarship each year.

Hospital staff who meet the criteria of this Scholarship are urged to submit their application as early as possible to ensure consideration for this yearly award.
